Sea and country views to the Rumps fort ; Trevan Point and Moule Island are spectacular with short cliff walks leading to Lundy Bay; Doyden Castle and Port Quin (old fishing village) or long walks to Port Issac and Polzeath via the rumps. There is a private path through the garden to the intriguing caved Epphaven Cove (5 mins walk) below with its sandy beach at low tide, and the Cornish Peninsular Coast path.

Atlantis is ideally placed for visits to the sailing mecca of Rock (10 mins) and Polzeath (7 mins) for surf fanatics (lessons available) or Padstow 25 mins by car, ferry or water taxi from Rock. For the more adventurous: coasteering and kayaking trips can be booked in advance and leave from Port Quin bay (3mins drive). Supervised fishing trips are also available from Padstow and Rock (depending on weather). For any cyclists the famous flat Camel Trail route situated between Wadebridge and Padstow is suitable for all (bike hire available) and includes wonderful estuary views. Local shops, bars, cafes and galleries are situated in Polzeath with Wadebridge benefiting from a more extensive range including local bakeries, butchers and
Co-operative supermarket.
